The Art Authentication Process  -  Before you begin

  Before entering into a full investigation of the legitimacy, authenticity or attribution of any work of art, academic or forensic, it is essential to know if the project is viable enough to justify its pursuit.

 So we prefer to conduct a preliminary professional pre-authentication assessment for clients first. A well reasoned, impartial and independent study based upon your images and the full known details of the items history and provenance.

This safety net allows for a balanced and rational measure of the risks that lie ahead and is both a logical and a cost effective professional assessment and advisory for which there is a modest set fee.
