The Art Authentication Process  -  Before you begin

  Before entering into a full investigation of the legitimacy, authenticity or attribution of any work of art, it is important to know if the project is viable enough to justify the pursuit and investment.

 So before you do begin, we prefer to conduct a preliminary professional pre-authentication assessment for clients first.

This is a well reasoned, independent study based upon your images, the known details and the items history.

It is an important study and a safety net that allows for a balanced and rational measure of the risks that lie ahead and is both a logical and a cost effective professional study and advisory for which there is naturally a modest set fee.
